ALOHA!!!! haix. no one blog.. so sian... recently got homework-block [are there such things?] cant seem to complete anything. still feeling quite confused over it...
recently, i started to have the motivation to start trying things i have never done before. i started thinking abt writing songs. i started thinking abt volunteering myself at the SPCA. is it very weird? actually i got the motivations by my dad. we were watching S-POP hurray that day [known to be the stupidest show on earth by my sis] and they were talking abt how young those song writers were and how talented they are. i remember that one of THOSE talented song writers out there started at the age of 18.
my dad told me ' ren jia shi ba shui jiu xie ge le. ni ye yi yang ke yi. geng he kuang ni ye you ying yue di zi.'translation: people can start writing songs at the age of 18, so can u. furthurmore, u have music background.
that statement actually spurred me on and from that day, tunes just started popping into my head automatically as and when they like. i did not want it to happen. i was quite ignorant to it and ignored those short tunes. after a few days, i started taking notice of it and thought, 'is this already a start?' shud i really start writing songs? do i have the capabilities to write songs as gd as others? shud i even start in the first place??? after some really deep thinking, i finally came to a conclusion.
till today, my studies are still my priority. i can write IF I HAVE THE TIME. if i can really manage to come up with a few that are acceptable by my sis [which is pretty hard] then maybe i can ask someone to sing and i can finally get to hear the whole song with my own ears. but then again, am i day dreaming? am i thinking too much? to those who are reading, dun take this that seriously bcos i may be thinking too highly of myself [which i think i am]... its going to be real hard.
anyway, enough of this wishful thinking. GUYS!! confirm the date to sentosa quick! hopefully it can be on nxt tuesday. that is the day that i can most probably make it considering my schedule that is updated yesterday. hope to hear from you guys soon!! xD
