Wow wow.. it has been 4 months since i stepped in! 4 freaking months! haha read my previous posts and realise how emo i was for the past year or so..
So i shall revolutionise:) new year, new feelings:)
well, for one, i'm semi-single now:) got my A level results.. BCC/ABAB
these are grades that we call "neither here nor there" cos it's very borderline and very risky.. but either way, i got into NUS FASS, which has been pretty much my dream since i was in sec sch, so i would say things are going pretty well now.
next up, is preparation for uni life!!! in the mean time, i'm doing relief teaching back in kranji (started on 20th feb 2012 and ending on 25th may 2012).
it's a pretty interesting experience i would say. well, at least now i know i'm not cut out for teaching career and i'll never step in again (unless necessary)! haha but then again, the memories that these kids bring to me are definitely precious and priceless:)
other than relief teaching, i'm also doing part time transcribing for SCCL and teaching tuition, and also doing modeling..
i guess many people wont be able to visualise me doing modeling cos to them i'm just a guai and nerdy girl i guess. but ppl morph. i feel happy doing it cos it really boost my confidence and self esteem, and i feel so much prettier and i like being stared at (in a good way). as always, since i'm a major big attention seeker, i like to be in the limelight (glamorously). so yeah, just started out with the help of Angeline and her sister, Kyi, who has been a model for 6 years and counting. i'm really grateful for their help cos it's a really complicated and competitive industry so it's always good to have guidance from someone more experienced :)
i know ppl will stick to the stereotypical thinking that models are sleazy and often linked to the sexual light, but it is not easy actually. just bcos SOME models do that, doesn't mean all will do that. so i'm just staying out of the sleazy portion, including bikini and lingerie shots. doing more of events and fashion shoots i guess.
Well, i have to find time to revamp my blog and make it more.... Yihan-ish. it's getting too childish for me hahaha..
looking forward to start of uni, and hopefully more modeling assignments~
