ITS OVER!! ITS FINALLY OVER!! MY PIANO EXAM IS OVER!!! YAY!!!

but not everything is over.. only my piano exam is over.. not my journey..

lol.. anyway, my piano teacher asked me a very meaningful qn yesterday when i went for lesson..
he asked "wad do u learn piano for?" that qn seriuosly set me on a thinking journey...

well, to me, learning piano is not abt getting those few pathetic pieces of papers that we call certificates.. it is more of an adventure in the world of music...

getting a grade 8 is more of a start then the end of my journey... its a confirmation that i can finally embark of my climb.

thinking abt it, there are still so many other composers that i have not touched on. there are so many other pieces and wonderful works of those remarkable composers that i have not heard of and learnt.

that is the reason why i have decided to continue learning piano. no matter whether i pass today's exam or not...

7 years of learning piano.. it wont end here... not for me.. xD

i learn piano not to get onto the world's performing stage... singapore is such a small country..

singapore has indeed been successful in grooming talents but they have nvr been able to be provide a stage for local pianists to perform on. many local pianists had to stay in singapore to teach or they had to go overseas to continue performing..

i learn piano, not for the prestige and fame...

i learn piano to appreciate music.. i learn piano to continue my love for music! its simply everything to me! <333

i just hope that i can clear the exam this time...

once i clear it, i will be free to venture out into the amazing and magnificent world of music. full of notes and wonderful music! the feel of each finger hitting the black and white keys. the movement of pianist. the sight of the piano score in front of u, staring back at u as though it is beckoning u to start playing.

i dun wanna talk abt my school results le.. make me so emo and depressed today... haix... going to put in all my effort for the end of yr liao.. cannot afford to drop my sciences or my a-math.. i wont drop any subjects de!! muahahaha!!!
