[2 jun 2008]hey hey ppl!! missed me? im back from sarawak now! let me see how we have lived through the past 6 days overseas (: but that will take far toooo long... so let me just thank some ppl first.. and i will update the rest as soon as i can get the pics in the com...*drum rolls*UNCLE RICHARD!!u r really my hero!!! thank you for trying ur best to push the boat and try not to let the few of us get into the water to push the boat.. we would have loved to help u with that but still, a great thanks for ur effort and amazing strength! Thank you for carrying my day pack down that day after i slipped and almost sprained my ankle.. i really shud have taken my bag from u before we separated from Ms Wong... Sorry!! hope ur knee is fine now! UNCLE LARRYthank you for being with us throughout the whole trip and even on our way back to Miri... u have been a great guide and taught us abt Sarawak! thanks!!ANGELINEthanks for always being there for me especially when i felt to distraught and upset over trivial things.. i promise u will be happy again soon k? thanks laopo!! <3LYDIAmy heroine! muahaha!! thanks for being my source of motivation on the way up yea?! without u being the bubble tea supplier, i may have given up halfway thru! lol...although the bubble tea was not exactly the main source of motivation that u gave, but still thanks a lot for always encouraging us even when u r feeling tired! JOYCEthanks for keeping me company when i was like so damn it freaked out during the blackout! u taught me many things as well... do open up to the world yea?! there are many things out there for u to discover! <3WEI HONGthanks for shining the torchlight at the dangerous places and sacrificing ur own safe footing... it means a lot to the rest of us especially the weaker ones like me... thanks! SUBHAANthanks for working so well with weihong and shining the torchlight for us at the narrow passage.. and also many thanks or showing ur concern on our way to take the van to that small mulu airport.. it may be a small act it helps a lot to know that actually there are people around me who cares.. especially when i was feeling quite emo over some things...well... seems like i have to thank you for another thing even after the expedition has ended... one of the teachers said that the expedition only ends when we step into kranji secondary school that night.. thanks for walking with me to lot 1 after dismissal when i was sick... BIG BIG THANK YOU!! ZULwell, since u have went down quite a distance and came up again to check if the weaker ones behind were alright, i guess i owe u a thank you as well... haha...STANLEY (LTF)thanks for keeping me company during the blackout as well... LONG TIME FREN!! haha... dun get the wrong idea ppl.. he is just a fren... A NORMAL FREN!! well, all the best for ur love life i guess.... xD CHOON YONGthanks for letting me hold on to ur shoulder when going down especially when the steps were quite big and it was like pitch black... without your support, i think i may have broken a bone or two... due to my clumsiness... haha xD MR SIAHthanks to Mr Siah for letting me see the true colours of someone... i shall not speak anymore of that incident... well well... thanks for guiding me on the way down the steep 400m... maybe i would get stuck up there if u had not been there to guide and let me know the steps i shud take... THANK YOU!!! MS WONGAhhh!!!! Ms Wong!!! got see doctor for ur injured leg or not? dun drag leh... no time oso must go k? must take care... ms wong with a limp=ms wong not chio le leh... xDthanks for teaching me persistence and how to care for someone else especially when that someone is in the same expedition team as us and facing the same pressure and challenges... MR YEOthanks to mr yeo... if without ur mentioning of names on the last night during the debrief, i would not have noticed how important each and everyone is in a team... everyone in a team is important....everyone plays a part right? thanks for letting me know how important it is... u have given me a great push in the direction i have always yearned going towards... MR ONGmuahaha!!! here comes the "mastermind"big boss!! thanks for planning this expedition trip to Sarawak for us! without this trip, i would not have learnt so many things and met so many frens and know the fact that... "under the gentle facade of the lady may lie the inner being of a fox..."thank you so much! i shall be hardworking and write the reflection and try my best to send the videos to u asap... haha...
after saying so many 'thank you's, i think its time for me to stop... on the overall, thanks to all for staying as a team and moving as one! it has been a valuable and wonderful experience for me! <3
i shall update the rest on my nxt post and hopefully with pictures too since a picture speaks a thousand words... i will see if i can get the pictures from other ppl... haha.... so look out for my update!! muahahahahaha!!!
im trying to get ready for OBS too... this shall be the most fruitful and meaningful holiday of my life!! one camp down... three more to go!
